Introduction to your Yoga Therapist

An accomplished Yoga Therapist, Instructor, and Wellness Manager with over 30 years of work experience. Diverse expertise encompassing yoga, mindfulness, mindfulness-based stress reduction, trauma, children’s yoga, senior yoga, special needs, stress, and grief. An innovative teacher who created a yoga in schools' program, yoga for trauma for families and adults, yoga for anxiety for kids and yoga for senior adults.

Deb is a mom, a mindfulness instructor, a yoga practitioner, a program manager, and a designer. Deb is a reputable yoga teacher in the greater Milwaukee Community teaching and designing classes for Children, Adults, Seniors and Families.  After studying and practicing yoga for most of her life, Deb completed practitioner training with Kanyakumari’s 200 hr. yoga teacher training in 2016 and then continued on to complete Kanyakumari’s Yoga and Ayurvedic Health Counselor program in Fall of 2016.  With a passion for mindfulness and meditation, Deb completed mindfulness studies for children with Growing Minds in the Summer of 2017.  In Fall of 2017 Deb Completed Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction studies at Trillium Studios.  Deb completed training in Children’s Yoga with Kidding Around Yoga in 2018, Therapeutic Applications of Yoga for Children in 2019­ with Global Family Yoga,  Yoga for inclusivity in 2021 and Yoga Therapy Foundations in May 2023.  Deb is currently a CIAYT candidate studying with Breathing Deeply.   Deb is also studying Trauma and the Mind Body Connection.

Deb has experience beyond yoga holding both a Bachelor and Master of Arts degree.
